Oz Seals has developed an advanced compact sealing profile named GS8BM, which is particularly economic in its need for space. It is an ideal choice for sealing rods and rams with light to medium loads. The elastomer part combined with the Wifflon support makes it an excellent low to medium pressure seal for short installation heights.

The new seal profile consists of a Wifflon U-ring, while the Nitrile Rubber or Viton part ensures excellent sealing properties especially in the low and medium pressure range. The Wifflon part reduces wear due to its triple lubricated properties, ensuring low friction. Wifflon also protects against gap extrusion, thereby ensuring a long service life. While Oz Seals recommends this seal is made in the standard combination of Wifflon and Nitrile Rubber, applications requiring high temperature and high chemical resistance would use Aflas Extreme and Carbon-filled Teflon.

Seals from the GS8BM series are approved to ISO 5597 standard. The range of sizes have been released to Sealnet.­­
