As of late, many packings have been replaced by mechanical seals. But not all packings can be completely replaced by mechanical seals, as packings are still the most reliable seal arrangement for use under rough environments, for instance in slurry pumps. The Oz Seals complete standard range of new generation packings provides improved sealing performance with long service life and environmental protection against dirt, slurry, dust, chemicals and high temperatures. All Oz Seals new generation packings have been carefully selected to be asbestos-free, environmentally friendly and cover a large pH range of 0 – 14, ideal for acids and alkaline environments.
